This is from her video for the song “Cool”. I’ve watched this video nearly 83 times (give or take a few). I can’t figure out what it is about this lollipop tune that i adore. It could be her eyes. The way she looks at him, knowing they were once closer than any two human beings could be. And now that’s gone. Replaced by distracted, inebriated laughs, meant to disguise the pain. The pain that comes from the loss of that fabricated universe you can never explore. Never, ever again.
